Who runs 305's w/ 4.25 BS

Will a 305/70/R16 mounted on a 16x8 wheel with 4.25'' of backspacing FOR SURE fit on a 99 4runner? How close will the tire be to the upper control arm? So who runs this setup and have you had any problems?

I attempted 305s before my 285s, but they rubbed on turns too much.

That was without a body lift though right?

I have 305's MT/R's with 4.0 back spaceing. I could fit 4.25 back spaceing. You will be fine. how big of body lift did you get.

Correct. I don't have a body lift. Only the 2.5 suspension lift.

I'm debating what to do about wheels too right now, and backspacing for 315/75R16's. Does anyone have any solid evidence on what backspacing I can run to clear stock upper a-arms and limited fender flares at the same time?
