I had to reconnect my o2 wire under the master cylinder on my 87 22re after buying a new header with the bung on the header itself and after reconnecting it I get a code 5 while cruising in 4th,it comes on for a few seconds and shuts off if I give it gas.I am thinking of running a new wire from the ecu to the o2 but was wondering if it is possibility to reconnect somewhere in the engine bay?The wire has a metal braid around the signal wire in a black casing.
