Anyone done this on a '97 4Runner? If so, can you post some pics?

Thanks

Derki--I don't know how far you are away from Boulder, but my wifes cousin owns Boulder Muffler, and could probably make you a pipe that fits. His name is Jeff--tell him his cousin Marc from San Diego sent you--he will trip out.

Frank--I got your e-mail. If you do a mod like this, just keep the stock stuff around so you can put it back on when it is time for a smog check.

As many have seen before, I made mine with the turbo tube from a new Ford Powerstroke diesel. I tried to find an easy and inexpensive way to get the parts so I could share, but failed.

Damn dude, you did a really good job on that intake.

So, I can just walk-in to any Ford Parts Dealer and ask for the Turbo Tube for a powerstroke diesel?

The tube is actually about 3 times the size of the part I used. The boots come separate. I was checking into buying some and making intakes, but the boots are about $40.00 each, and I have no idea how much the tube would be.

Are you running the 3.4? If so, these guys are talking about a totally different motor. If you want something similar, check the tech section, I have a write-up that uses plugs instead of pipe. Or, you can buy the Airaid MIT for $85.
