At least they are lying/trying to fool you you completely, they are showing a pic of the resistor. I didn't read the whole auction though.
Still pretty crappy $8.00 for a resistor you can get for less than a $1.00. And some crappy directions,

Installation is very easy! Basic instructions are included with every product as well as all necessary hardware besides the tape.

It's a fixed version of the "ECT" mod...
