Well, I happen to think my products are some of the best out there.

Ok. Well, just one example would be the Real carbon fiber kits I sell. I haven't seen anyone come close to the awesome pattern and layers in the pieces.

A lot of compaines sell their carbon fiber calling it real, when it isn't and this can FOOL a lot of people. This is the real deal. These kits are also avail in wood, and other finishes.

Well, there is REAL and SYNTH wood. 85% of the ones I sell are for synth wood, mainly due to being CHEAPER in price.

Here is a close-up of the SYNTH WOOD in my truck (meduim burl):

Here is a close-up of the REAL WOOD in a G35 I just installed (golden birdseye)

Stuff for 2nd generations just won't cut it here. I need details! What have you been looking for, what do you want, what parts can't you find, etc.

well i havent exactly scoured the net, but clear lenses for tail lights (or possibly altezza type) or headlights for 2nd gens, as well as various types of lifts would be goog. its a pain to go all over the place looking for prices and everything. ARB/OME stuff would be nice!

Here's what I'm thinking:

1) You access the site
2) You select from drop-down boxes, what year your vehicle is, then
3) You select your vehicle model (i.e. 4-runner, tacoma, or pick-up), which will be dynamically created based on year, so you can't select a 1986 Tacoma and obviously get an error.
4) You Select 2wd or 4wd
5) Select Trim Level (i.e. SR5, Limited, Base, etc.)
6) Modifications (i.e. mainly engine stuff so product suggestions will be correct, such as spark plugs when supercharged for example.
7) Then your information will be stored using cookie technology, so each time you visit the site, you will only look up parts that fit your vehicle. In addition, you can constantly add any engine modifications that you would like, so the database will know what products will fit your vehicle. And, if you'd like to change your vehicle down the road, that's possible too.

Parts will be the main concern, but here's some more things I'd like to have:

1) Links to all manufacturers that have websites
2) Links to all existing forums on our vehicles
3) Individual web page(s) for users that would like to have their own web pages. Probably like $10/month if interested.
4) For sale section (i.e. used parts, vehicles, etc.)
5) Special Percentage discounts at other parts sites for being members of our site.

That's all I can think of right now, but more ideas are welcome!! What would you like to see on your perfect parts and toyota information site? What would make it the only site that you would visit when you're in need of information or parts for your vehicle?

Hey Mike,

I'm sorry to say that I don't either, but I know how to find it.

Best of luck to ya, and I'm sure we'll both want to link to each other, don't you think?

2nd Gen stuff...

Downey parts, lifts, skid plates, engine mods. (any site with Downey stuff will probably be better than Downy's site itself)

ARB and TJM and maybe some Smittybuilt as well

All-Pro offroad gear? Sliderz etc...

Energy Suspension/Daystar polyurethane products.

Winches and winch accessories ie. hitch receivers, shackles, synthetic lines etc...

Husky Liners

Hella etc.. lighting products

Snorkels. ( if you can find a manufacturer of one for the 2nd gen you'll be laughing)

CB radio packages/complete

Roof racks

Altimeter/tilt-o-meters

That's all I can think of right now. Also, you MUST ship to Canada ok?

Product review/rating by the customers. Make it a little more structured than just the simple 1-5 stars & summary. Perhaps have people put some info on their rig, and list all related mods they have done.

i.e.: if they are rating headers, I want to see what intake/exhaust mods they have done.

Most definitely a very comprehensive rating system! This will prove to be invaluable for sure.
