What is the first year for airbags in a 4runner
I am looking for a 4 runner for my daughter who is going to start driving later this year but airbags are key. Whats the first year with bags?

If the '88 I rode in had them, pretty sure whatever model yr came out with the supplemental restraint system has them. May have to double check for the passenger...
Keep in mind that older models only had front airbags. No side or whatever additional ones the newer models have nowadays.
