I don't have experience with the 14"... but the 18" has a nice low grumble to it up to about 2000 RPMs. I think it helps me get better gas mileage cuz I like the sound In the upper ranges it still sounds good, definitely not "ricer", but also not quite like a V8. The whole range sounds better though; you won't be embarrassed by having any sort of "ricer" type sound. It'll start to sound better too as it gets broken in. People will definitely hear it though, and if you have a cold air intake or the ISR mod it is pretty dang loud when you get on it. It sounds real good with the intake and exhaust noise together

thanks guys! yeah i saw your video Elton, very helpful sounds awesome. and im leaning more towards a magnaflow than a cherry bomb. and thatd be great if you made a video j-money. thanks for all the info guys!

Oh and pdyebrasil, im planning on doing the ISR mod and deckplate mod as well so im excited to see how the intake mods and the exhaust work together.

Am I missing something here? I dont get it then, do you not read the replies to your own thread? Look at post #4 from okie. There are 4 sound clips on a 3.4 engine from that link and like 10 clips on youtube.
Im not sure what more you expect? The spoon cant really get any more silver.
