Anybody know what the backspacing is on the 16" alloys that came on 4runners around '99 -'00? I want to run'em on my '93 xcab 4x4 p/u, so if you know reasons why that wouldn't work I'd be glad to hear about that too. -- Matt

 

95% sure it's 4.5" BS

 

i think that pictured wheel is for the 1996-1998 models. the 1999-2000 models came with the 5-spoke star pattern while the 2001-2002 came with the 5-spoke banana pattern

 

Many members have swapped over to the 6 spoke 16" allow wheel. Its a very common swap, and you will not have to worry about backspacing.

there's a number says "15" next to "16x7JJ", that means 15mm offset, roughly 4.5" backspacing. 4th Gen 16" wheels have 30mm offset, 5" backspacing.
