water pump change out seal packing?

water pump change out seal packing?
hi all ,
i'm changing out the water pump with an toyota oem #16100-69398-83 water pump assy. the service manual says
"
"Apply seal packing to the water pump groove as shown
in the illustration.seal packing: Part No. 08826–00100 or equivalent
Install a nozzle that has been cut to a 2 – 3 mm (0.08
– 0.12 in.) opening.
Parts must be assembled within 5 minutes of application.
Otherwise the material must be removed and reapplied
Immediately remove nozzle from the tube and reinstall
cap."
The question is on top of using the metal gasket supplied that has a grey film (gasket material i assume) along with a black raised bead (looks like sealant to me) i still have to apply this Part No. 08826–00100 ? K..i do read,speak and understand english (haha sarcastic) but really? sealant on top of this metal gasket. i run this part number but didnt get any pics.the pic in the service manual just shows the back of the pump w/ the word seal packing and a line to the area where the gasket goes....thanks
