WAAG Guard and a Body lift

i have a 99 4Runner and i want to move up my WAAG brush guard to match the body lift. Every post i've found says to just mod the mount and move the grill up a few inches, my guard has a 90 degree bracket on it that sits flush on part of the bumper reinforcement mount, so it can't be moved up any more. I know some of you guys have done it. please help, thanks

its not to tough if you can cut and weld, you have to cut the lower part of the bracket about an inch ubove where it bends into the 90: angle. then take the pieces and flip them over and weld them on up side down that will make up for the body lift spacing, you might have to drill a hole or two to make the new brackets fit but they should match up pretty close, i had to drill a hole to make it fit tight, i hope this helps

I took off me waag after I got a body lift. Now that it is off I think it looks better. I mounted my lights to my bumper.
