I have a 99 4runner 3.4 liter 2wd that i bought a few years ago and it had a k&N air filter. I am replacing that with the factory air cleaner assembly however I am not sure where all the vacuum lines route to for the upper intake manifold .. the throttle body ... and one from the air housing shown in pics. any help would be appreciated thx.
Did the new assembly come off a more-or-less identical model? All the same options and accessories?
Here are photos of my engine bay. 98 3.4L manual transmission Tacoma. Aside from replacing worn hose at some point, nothing in my vacuum system has been modified.
Never known what the throttle body lines would feed, if they had been connected, or the other intake port that's capped. I don't have the air housing connection you point to.
Thx that helps i think im good as i have a 2wd .. So intake vacuum isnt used i think and the air assembly i bought came from ebay was probably for a 4wd so ill leave that one plugged . thx again
