Anyone still do this mod for a lift? I remember seeing stuff about it here and there. I just put new front shocks and coils on my 02 Tundra. I don't think the old coils were completely worn out, but at 225,000 miles I just figured I'd better do it, because for the time being, unlike with our Tacomas, the Tundra coils are still available from Toyota.

Anyway right now they're still attached to the old shocks, and might go to the landfill. But if people are interested I'll get them off the shocks and put them on the marketplace. Just gauging interest first I guess...

 

that mod made use of the TRD Tundra coils. It had the color code which I forgot. That gave about 2" to 2.5" of lift. Perhaps somebody could chime in to confirm.
