Truck died while driving!! Still wont start..help please!

Ok , 1996 Toyota 4runner 3.4 Was driving great and then suddenly died while driving down the road.
Ive been trouble shooting it off and on for a couple weeks now. Its NOT Getting spark.

When I first started troubleshooting it had code P0340 Camshaft postion sensor, so I thought easy, swapped it out with a Toyota Denso one
($170 from Toyota) STill NO CHANGE, just cranks!

-It is definatly getting fuel. fuel pump turns on. and spark plugs are soaked with fuel when removed.
-timing belt is intact and aligned correctly.
-tested the coil packs and all 3 are with in ohm spec
-did a compression test and all cylinders are 145-150 psi
-it has an aftermarket alarm, that i thought maybe got fried and stuck in Anti theft mode, I removed it, no change!

SO WHAT KILLS THE SIGNAL FOR SPARK?

With the Ign on I am getting 12v power to one of the terminals on all 3 coil packs. (Im not sure but Im assuming the ECM sends the ground signal to complete the circut to fire the coil packs? Can someone confirm my assumption?

After it died, I replaced the Battery and the starter.

All it does is crank and crank and does not fire up.. It does not throw any more codes.

Im going to test CRANK Postion sensor today, but I do not know the OHM spec? Everyplace I look has old links to fsm that dont work anymore.
Does anyone know?

Thanks in advance!

Red face

Had the Cam Sensor failed you did test both the one you removed and the New one??

Even Toyota Parts can be bad out of the Box

Has the PO340 Code returned ??

You must know any code is the complete circuit not just the sensor

Poor connection damaged wires failed ECM

Have you cleaned or installed new Plugs Fouled plugs might be your problem.

Funny how plugs that look fine to the eye will no longer fire .

So after testing for spark none of the coil packs have any Spark .

Ground for the ECM vibrate loose??
