I need to get a truck tool box for my 04 Taco....I want to get the diamond plate aluminum box....But I dont know whether to get black or chrome/silver.....the black is still the diamond plate just powder coated....
I have a black truck with chrome accents (grille, bumper etc)....I cant decide if if black will be too much black on a black truck or if I will look good....What do you guys think?...I'm sorry this isnt really a tech question, but it didnt really feel off-topic to me either...

I prefer the low-profile powdercoated boxes.

for me the jury is still out. i plan on getting a box soon, but its for working... my truck is pretty much void of any chrome except for the surronds onm y front clears... but also there are the 5 ligths i have up front with their reflectors being silver... i know the brite tread kind might look a little out of place, but its for being functional i really care about... black would look ok as well......

oh yeah, anpther thing to mention, is that if you actually use your box as in some laborer type of field, that shiney chrome luster will be gone in no time and just the silver burnish of aluminum will remain... i personally like the aluminum color better than the chromelike color the box is originally
