Try checking where you made your connection to tap in for your light source.

larger fuse

Turns out is was a fuse in the driverside kick pannel.

It was a #15, replaced it the other night and it blew again...

Can I put a #25 or something larger and not mess anything up//

Thanks

I would'nt. If it blew twice, something is shorting. Follow every wire from the gauges, make sure nothing is cut or pinched...my dome and floor lights shorted out...it was the metal clip on the kick panel, nicked one of the wires when I put it back...kept blowing the fuse too. Good luck.

Wire Question

Looked at everywire no nicks that I saw maybe need to look harder?

Perhaps a related cause. I did cut into two blue wireson the drivers side trying to determine fuel pump wire.
At anyrate I put those two wires back together with the swrew cap type connector/ Maybe I shoulkd have used splade blade instead..

what do you think

thanks

Wire nuts are'nt the best with the thin auto wires, solder and heat shrink is best...butt connectors (the good clear vinyl ones) are fine too. I dunno, did you check to see if your dimmer switch is turned up? Gotta recheck all your connections, trouble shooting is a bitch....
