Lately I have noticed that when my transmission shifts from 2nd to 3rd the shift is harsh or harder(not as smooth) as the other shifts. It only does this sometimes, depending on how fast Im accelerating, the faster Im accelerating the harsher it is. I've only towed once and I have a TRD tranny cooler. I'll be taking it to the dealership shortly for my 25,000 mile service so I'll have them check it out, I was just checking to see if this was normal.

I thought my 2-3 shift was hard when the truck was new. Now all shifts are very smooth. I also wondered if it was caused by me driving a new vehicle with a light foot. When it got a few miles and I sharted pushing it harder the shifts seemed to smooth out. Maybe it was a break in thing.

Anyway, seems you have enough miles it should be completely broken in by now. Let us know what the dealer has to say.
