Not sure if there is one on the transmission. I've heard that the automatics use the dipstick tube as the breather, but I can't figure out why a part that operates on fluid pressure needs a pressure relieving device. Can it build up too much pressure? Does it behave differently when the fluid is cold vs. when it's hot? Manual transmissions might be a different story. Anyone got any thoughts on the subject?

I believe that there are 2 breathers on the transmission even autos. I'll double check to make sure that is correct though. In any event, I have 2 new breathers for the tranny sitting in my truck. If it turns out that my automatic doesnt have them, they will be for sale....lol
