TPS help and Throttle Body Removing
From everything I've read, I think I have a bad or malfunctioning TPS. Does anyone know any links for testing, possibly cleaning, and adjusting the TPS on a 3.0 engine. I really dont want to take it to a stealership. I know it involves an ohm meter. I also am interested in removing the Throttle body and cleaning it. Is this difficult? Thanks in advance for advice. Ray, This write up says its for the 3.4 but I would assume its the same cleaning idea.

The TB is easy to remove, and you dont have to drain your radiator like is says in the hayns manual, just plug the hose(you'll know which one). The above site at 4crawler is the one I used to adjust my TPS, gives a great rundown on how to do it, I did find it much easier to adjust with the TB off the truck. You will need a new TB gasket, autozone usually has em if you dont want to visit the stealership.
