so I have an 01 trd 4runner and it wants to wine at any speed under 45 after that the noise stops I recently changed the fluid and it was pretty black. how ever the noise kinda went away but is still there. I do have a filter kit but am worried that I have bigger issues than replacing the tranny filter. if any one has any info please get back to me thanks.

 

I had that happen in another vehicle I owned a while back and the filter fixed it. It was an older bmw 5 series. I think you should change it out and see if that does the trick.
