The performance is unbelievable, It is tuned differently and the thing kicks up to 60 mph in 7 seconds. I have a 4 inch suspension lift and 35" BFG tires, you won't believe how much power this chip added. I can cruise at 85 MPH but be warned, I have been getting pulled over.

I THINK it is definately worth the money. Plug it into the brown and brown and black wire, I cannot believe the power and it took 2 weeks after the hook up to experience the difference, but I mean it is definately noticable and I race jeeps and chevy s10's with the 3.4 liters and pass them. Keep in mind I have a 3.0L v6 1994 4runner and it is fast! AHAHAHHAHAHA

You can also get a thing that goes in your exhaust and it sounds like a BOV without having to go through the pain of installing a turbo. Must be worth at least a couple seconds off your 1/4 mile time.

Mike, try the appropriate Generation and you might get some feedback, this is the 1995.5-2004 taco and 1996-2002 4Runner group, not that some here don't have both types of vehicles but more likely to get solid feed back from like vehicles in vehicle specific groups. Personally I'd never try a chip that tricks a vehicle to perform better without fuel upgrades and monitoring, most chips are like snake oil without supporting mods and a way to monitor what's going on.
