Well I took my dash apart the other day and I couldn't figure out how to get the bulb out? I kept pulling on it but it wouldn't come out. Does anyone know how to get it out? I'm guessing the base has to come out too, I'm not sure though.

I really don't see what is wrong with telling a guy his girlfriend is good looking..
have you not seen this thread?

I also don't see what is wrong with me not finding dudes attractive, or assuming he has money and hung like a horse. All complements in my world....

__________

I support the removal of brush guard. It is one of the nicest I've seen, but if you took it off and blacked out wheels....... man.
Supercharger...well it would make anyone drool. Might make the 4runner hotter than your girlfriend.

As for the dash I would recommend these... from speedhut

Yeah I really like that tint. Looks pretty good but too much chrome for what I use mine for... lol I can just see that thing off road.

The black bases/knobs on the back of the gauge cluster that you were pulling on are the bulbs. Twist counterclockwise. I think I mentioned this in your other post.

I haven't tried the gauge yet, what I tried the other day were the 3 bulbs behind the AC controls.

Really? https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/my-new-4runner-few-enhancements-87231/ Since when does "pavement pounder" mean offroad?? Maybe i'm just crazy

Fo Sheezy, you got a real nice looking 4runner there. It's not my style but it does look good and I can really appreciate all the work that you have put into it. I do think you should ditch the brushguard and see what it looks like.

Good job on the lady friend

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

Thanks man, although it looks kind of tacky right now with the AC lights & gauge still being pale green. Hopefully I'll have that taken care of as soon as possible.

No it's not. Go to a rice show (import car show) and you'll see all this stuff. It's all been done before.

Again though if the OP likes it, whatever, I don't have to drive the thing.

modding a 4runner like this, esp 4wd one, is stupid.

but,
your 4runner is the least of the stupid looking ones.

Well around here where I live, there are definitely a lot more 4Runner's with rims then there are 4Runner's that are lifted.

Fosheezy,

I noticed you have been getting a lot of criticism, some of it ridiculous... but ALL of it, no matter how cruel, is justified based on the manner of your post. Just thought I would offer a helpful suggestion...

When you post pictures showing off your ride, you're in for it the moment you push "submit." For future reference, post a writeup instead. When you post a writeup, you are actually doing the forum a favor - specifically those interested in that specific mod. If people are interested in seeing your ride, direct them to your picture site through a pm. Let them ask first! Otherwise, everyone thinks you're just showin off. This of course leads to posts that bring about how old you are, what you do for a living, AND if they can find out, who you're dating...

I think what you and a LOT of folks, (myself included), have in common here is that you have spent a lot of time and money into your ride... albeit for completely different things. The main thing is that YOU are happy with what you have done!
