Took some pics of the 4Runner's

It is pretty awesome to have both. I am not planning on doing anything to the 3rd. gen until I can finish the 1st. gen. Tires might be my only purchase on the 3rd gen. This time next year I will be in the market for a new truck. Kinda excited about the new Tacoma's.

They are 33X10.5's mounted on the factory 15x7" rims. You will need to pound the inner front fenders to keep from rubbing on full compression. I did add a set of longer shackles in the rear.

Looks great. I've got 33x10.50 AT's on my '74 Cherokee. I set them up to the back wheel well and figured they'd never fit. I figure it would be different if I had of put them on the stock rims, since they'd fit inside the rear wheel well better.
Do you have full travel in the back without rubbing, or is there some mods (body pounding!) that'll probably have to be done?
Thanks.

mtntrip,
I have not had any rubbing in the back with these tires at full compression. If I went with the 12.5 width BFG there might be some rubbing in the rear as well as more rubbing in the front.

Martin,
Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll have to get my 33x10.50's mounted! It would sure save me from investing in another set of tires.
One last question... sorry if it seems silly, but can you give me any idea how much it affected your power? Do you have a 4 banger or the 6?
My Cherokee, while having a 360, had 3.07 gears and I loved how it drove.

mtntrip,
Currently, I have 4.30's front and rear with the 3.0 V6. The power decrease is noticeable on the highway but around town not much difference. My plans include 5.29's front and rear with ARB's.
