TJM Alignment (T17)?

I installed my T17 yesterday, and aside from a couple big screw ups by TJM...

(To many of the wrong bolts, to few of the right bolts, and two left hand gaskets instead of a left and a right)

I got it installed and was wondering if for those of you with the wider flares like on the later SR5s and the Limiteds if the bumper is about an inch shy of being even with the flares when looking head on at the vehicle.

Like so:

This is normal. Remember, this is a mass produced, commercial bumper that fits a wide range of applications, not a custom piece solely dedicated to 3rd Generation 4Runners with the big flares.

Thanks Darren. It doesn't bother me at all, it was just something I was curious about after installing, and after scouring yotatech and the web, I couldn't find a really good shot of the question.

Aside from needing to get that new gasket, the bumper kicks a$$, and I'm incredibly pleased with it.

My wife does not see the beauty however.

Darren, did you change your name?

Bob, mine has the same fit that is shown in your pics. I think it is one of those details that only the owner notices.

It was late, all I saw was the C of the flag and my brain took the rest from there.

Sorry about that Darren. You've been given top billing once again.

Hi Bill;

I've got your email here in front of me, but I hadn't had a chance to reply to it. Sorry!

As other's said, yes, this is normal and my T17 is just like this.
