any body try the new bridgestone revos for there truck??? out here in boston they are tough to get get. everybody has told me that they areon back order for about at least a month. because of their popularity and the fact they are new. but has anybody actually tried them and are they worth it on different terrains?? gotta buy some new tires soon any suggestion swould be appreciated

 

If you haven't seen any threads on here about them since you signed up in May, I'm going to say you've missed some things. Also, there's a blinking button on the top of the page that will help you out.

The tires aren't that new, and from what I've seen, people have given them rave reviews. Sounds like an excellent tire.

 

I just ordered the 285 Revo´s and firestone matched Tire Racks price. Costco also sells them cheap. I did a ton of research and the these shine compared to everything else.

 

I've got my set for about 3 wks. So far I like them, but am interested to see how they perform in the upstate NY snow. I also ran into the availability issue, but only with certain sizes. I couldn't find 265/70/16s, but easily found 275/70/16s. I picked up a set of OEM 4Runner steel 16" wheels to mount them and, and intend to switch back to the OEM Dueler H/Ts on the 17" alloys for summer use. I will advise that, on my '03, the REVOs are sensitive to tire pressure. I have found mine work well at 35 psi, but had steering problems at 38 psi. I would recommend, depending on your type of use, geting them.
