Tire Upgrades

What have people upgraded to? And what fits without a lot of modifications?

Currently I have 265/70/r16 on stock Limited wheels. I'd like to keep my wheels but want to know what people size up to. 275/70? 285/75? I have 5100s fitted on the 1st taller collar above stock so I have a little extra room.

Tire diameter to nearest inch...
So you have 16x7" wheels 265/70r16 -31"-, I believe 4.56" back spacing...wheel adapters?
Your wheels without spacers/adapters:
265/75r16, -32"- might get some frame rub at full lock, valance mostly safe iirc
285/75r6 -33"- might have problem with clearing the upper a-frame and frame rub when turning at less than full lock. May have to cut the bumper valance plastic to clear. The black stuff cuts easily with a utility knife, but I don't know what people are doing for the ones with the big plastic trim like some limiteds have.
235/85r16 -32"?- (pizza cutters) look these guys up, less contact patch because more narrow, but also more room for things like a-arms and frames. Again, not sure about clearance for the bumper valance. I don't have any personal experience with this size.
That's all I know, which isn't much.

Im not on factory wheels, saving those mint wheels for winter tires sadly, but I am running the 2015 T4R trail edition 17"x7.5" rims, bit wider but less back spacing so similar in that regards, tires at the widest sit almost flush to the outside edge of the Limited flares, looks factory, I have 1" body lift and 4R Billys with Original 99 talls 3rd notch for a suspension lift, 23.5" hub to fender so 22.5" without BL lift, 275/70R17 Kumho Road Venture A/T, no issues if its of any use.
