Tire size for 04 Tacoma

I bought a 04 tacoma it has 265 70 16 on it...They rub on front when i turn...I looked on the door it calls for that size tire..I do not want to put a lift on it nor want a tire to small was is stock size for them and what are ya'll running on yours...Thanks

Thats unusual, you should be able to put at least 265 75 16 on there... i would check where it is rubbing..., i have the 75's on my runner and not even close to rubbing at full turn... what rims are you running?

I think those were the stock tires size from the factory if I'm not mistaken. It shouldn't be rubbing. Are the rubbing both sides or just one?

i tried 265/75/16's and they rubbed a bit, but the 70's shouldn't, at least mine didn't. are they real aggressive, big lugs?

I looked i am running 75 on stock rims...It is barely rubbing but rubbing...It is rubbing on the inside of the fender on the bottom..They are a HT type tire more HWY than a trail tire...

well that would explain why its rubbing just take a bfh and beat the plastic a little
