Timing belt help
Anybody in the Hampton roads area that has done the timing belt that is free one weekend this month? And / or have the special tools? Looking to do the timing belt this month and purchaseing the kit and wanted to know if anyone local had the special tools and maybe the experience! I live in Norfolk close to the fire station on granny street! Of coarse beer and food would be included!

Just changed my 3.4 belt a month ago. No "special" tools needed, just good set of mechanics tools (metric), patience, muscle (for the crankshaft bolt, it is tight!), Haynes Manual, and no interruptions.
If you are going to do the timing belt, change the water pump and drive belts also.

These special tools make the job much easier and it works on the cam pulleys also.
