timing belt

timing belt

hey. i have 152400km's on my truck. the timing belt was changed at 88000km's just wondering if it is that critical to change it now if toyota's maintence menu recomends it. ohh by the way it's a 99. thanks

The maintenance interval on the timing belt is 90k miles (144k km) so they changed it very prematurely the first time. Your next timing belt change should be at about 230k km so you still have a while to go.
