Yeah thats kinda where I'm steering. I don't do anything extreme and while that makes me more or less of a driver isn't really up to me its just what I' comfortable with. I don't wanna smash my girl into a rock ,,,, from the side anyway. I had a couple more conversations with a few people and for as much road driving that is involved in our trips the SSR's would were out pretty quick. The ride is another to consider the STT's ride smoother than my AT's on an lost a wheel weight day.

It's to bad I can't get the new BFG Mud Terrain Km2 but the only applicable size measure out to 34.8" in diameter. Hmmmm And no switching to 17's is not feasible because I already have 2 sets of 16" wheels. Not to mention they are $250+ a piece.

Eh,
Radials are for wussies... Seriously though... If your going to have two sets of tires, why not go all out? Your hitch is free when your heading to the trails right? Why not find/make something that will go into your hitch to hold them on the ride up like I do. That way you can keep the hi way miles off the Precious MT rubber and you can really go low when you hit the trails... They don't make a 33x12.5 for in a 16" (I assume you had 16s from the factory) but I wonder if the 33x13-16 would fit...? The overall diameter is only 12.7". You might have to find some steelies with a wider offset but Just food for thought... Yeah they are noisy, burly and heavy but isn't that the whole point of having two sets? I actually find myself using them from time to time even when not going wheeling.

Sorry for the plug but I never get tired of seeing this picture... get LOW LOW Low Low low low low...

Austin you are right, why not in deed. Well I guess that a possibility I have had and loved the SSR's.

I do have a rear carrier that has and could accommodate these tires.

I'd give the TLSs a whirl... Especially since there isn't much in FL but mud... The only question is if you can find a place that would carry one locally or would be willing to do a test fit for you to make sure they would fit. Does your truck have the brakes for the 16" wheels?

Yes stock with the 16's and rotors to prove it. I had to use either 1/2" or 1" wheel spacers with the SSR's so some new rims would be in order. Since I have 2 sets of rims I'm steering more toward the SSR's still aggressive and 33.9" x11.4" compared to the 33-13.6 16 which I could only find in the LTB's and measure 32.8x 12.6. So not really sure which way to turn but I'll figure it out. I dont do mud often, my last truck yes this one no. But there is not match to the traction of an interco tire (thornbird excluded) except maybe a pitbull rocker (not included because of size limitations).

What do you think about 255/85/16 BFG MT's or Maxxis bighorns.

I don't wheel much in FL. When I had my 95 PU I Lived in Orlando and went to a place called Sea World.... though it has been closed. I've been to Corbit up in West Palm. I know the Miami 4X4 kids go to 8th St allot and go to Card Sound located in the Keys. The 4runner doesn't go into the mud, not to say she doesn't get dirty!
