Throttle Position Sensor Broken??

Ok so I did the throttle body cleaning, with no hitches....

Aside from no one having the right gasket.

So I am trying to adjust the TPS with directions I found on here and I am doing it correctly, but I found something wierd.

While I am testing the points between e2 and idl I get an open link. Does this mean it is burnt out? I hope not. And I was unable to get that number down below 8k.

Hopefully I don't have to go to yota for this part.

No continuity at either extent of adjustment?

If so, you need a new TPS.
