Throttle Position Sensor?

I have a 2001 4runner with the 6cyl. engine. Recently started having an intermittent problem with throttle response: specifically, the gas pedal just feels dead , then it will pick up & resume acceleration. Does this sound like a bad TPS?
Have replaced MAF, coil packs, & spark plugs (thinking that might be it...), but it's still happening.
Thanks, I'm new to this thread and any responses will be much appreciated.

The 2001 4R got the newer more sophisticated TPS, so its very possible. It should be flagging a code you would think if it is acting like that though.
