throttle body coolant mod?

Hi all
Has any one I in the warmer states done a throttle body coolant modification? And if so were there any computer issues because of it? I have been reading online and it seems that it is popular. Just curious if it has any adverse affects that may throw a CIL.
thanks.

That doesn't really warm the air .It keeps the throttle from freezing open or shut and controlls the cold idle speed. If it threw a cel it should be from an incorrect idle speed. In my opinion it would be a useless mod, nothing to gain but a headache.

No CEL so far on mine. I did it because I'm running a supercharger with 10 psi of boost, so air intake temps are critical in my case.

yes I agree. just that there are allot of sites and guys saying that they got 4-10hp from doing this and had dyno results.
I am considering doing this.

I dont understand how bypassing the isc motor on the throttle body will give you 10 more hp. All it does is control idle speed, mostly when its cold. I agree, worthless mod
