for those of you with lifted trucks...

what type of shocks do you have, and how much travel?

tomorrow i will be putting on some superlift shocks, about 15.5"-26.38" in length. the carquest ones on now are about 16"-21", so im hoping to gain some considerable droop. thats in the rear. in the front i have SAWs. i found the superlift shocks to be the best travel for the price, about $45 a piece. im curious to find out how they ride and what improvement they give me... also curious about what everyone else on the board has done with their rear shocks.

I replaced my Superlift shocks with air shocks. Gabriel on the front and Monroe on the back.

The air-shocks on the front of my rig are sold for the rear of a 4-runner, I can't remember what year (2nd Gen I think). The air shocks on the rear of my rig are Monroe MA-733 and are sold for the 76-93 Dodge Ramcharger 4X4 and other pre 94 Dodge 4X4 models. The extended length is 26.25" and comp lenght is 15.5" . I have a 4 inch lift.

mt_goat, how were your superlifts? they seem soft to me... softer than the skyjacker ones i just returned because they were not very long. 25.25"... saved $20.

toy283.. do you know the extended and compressed lengths? can you measure or something for me? ill check on the rancho site too. sounds better than what i got, if they are long enough...

edit: couldn't find the measurements on the site...:pat:
