Thanks everyone

Hey guys ,
Just want to thank 4x4Fink, AverysDad, Icopelan22, Plays_with_Toys and Williemon for your input yesterday for my question regarding upgrading my 2nd gen 4runner. I got pulled away from the computer and so I couldn't read the responses right away. I'm still dealing w/ the fact I no longer have my lowered Integra (stolen) to race around in and even though I am a COMPLETE convert to the 4runner, I still wish I had more power. Especially since I just recently went snowboarding and some Ford Escort just whizzed past me going up the mountain. I guess I'll just deal with the 3.0 slow go for now. In the meantime, I'll just save up for a kick-ass turbo'd 4runner next year. Thanks again fellas. I gotta say this is one of the best sites I've ever been on.

Hey, no problem! That's what yotatechies are for!

Trust me, your 3.0 slow isn't anywhere near as bad as my 22r (not even an RE). I floor it and get beaten by just about anything (even kids on bikes).... and those people aren't even trying to be fast.

I've learned to deal with it... although of late I have been wishing I had gotten the car I was about to get before I found this truck... But thats because the truck makes me do stupid things (curb hopping/snow pile parking/snow pile hopping) just because its a truck and I can....
