Technical 02 ??

Recently I purchased two 02 sensors online. One for the front and one for the back. I received them today and they look the same visually. On the casing is DENSO 89465-02300. I emailed the vendor and asked about it. This was the reply...

"Both sensors yield the same resistance. They're really interchangeable as the only difference is less than an inch in wire lead. At any rate, I will be receiving a new batch by the end of this week, if you don't feel comfortable installing the ones you received & willing to wait, I can mail you another set and make sure they're identifiable. Let me know."

Does this sound right and will it work??

Thanks

Well in 96 they might have been the same, in the newer models the front is different. Tacoma or 4runner?

Was the vender URD? If so, I'd trust them. They have some very detailed info on O2 sensors on their website: http://www.urdusa.com/index.php?cPath=9_13

They may also need the engine and state emissions system you have for the correct part.
