Vagina, boobs, booty, bulge ... this thread is starting to deteriorate fast!

Next "mod" I want to do to my Runner is the sport hood swap. REALLY hard to find. Opps was that another sexual reference????

Do they include the actual scoop insert with the hood? My hood was an aftermarket brand new hood without the insert for $150. My cost on the insert and hardware was about $125 and got paint from a body shop our shop sends alot of business for $200. I sold my stock hood for $50 so I am in it for around $450

I want a scooped hood so bad. I was driving down the highway and saw another stock 4runner that was beat has crap. The sides were all wrinkled and rusty. He happedn to pull in the same gas station I did and was going to ask him if he'd trade, but the hood had some nasty dents in it too.

from the picture on their site I'm pretty sure it's a complete mold, no need for the insert. It does look like you might need to cut out the opening though . . .

I would not bet on that, call and make sure first. My hood also came missing the insert, still looks good without it and will look better with it. Plus i sold my stock hood for $100 so i am only out $50 for it at this point.

alright i had it a few days longer than i expected but i had to give it up yesterday, thought i'd throw up a real camera picture to capture everything i'm missing. who knows, maybe i'll update this with my own hood later, but all my money is going to other things right now so it's not likely. anyways, the message was sent: yotatech wants to see caitlin and her boobs/vagin, she laughed...take that as you will. anyways, au revoir, and damn all with a scooped hood once more

Have you looked at junk yards. Car-part lists at least 15 scooped hoods from various yards in the US.

i'm not sure if surf meant his scoop is functional or something to do with his weiner, this thread was filled with innuendos from the get go nothing is what it seems haha.

http://www.car-part.com

some junkyards catalogue their stuff on this website. its true scooped hoods are generally found on there, but most offer only pick up, when i get 12mpg i'm not driving to VA to get a hood.

This page had pics with hoses from the scoop to the airbox, but they are gone now.
