changed my timing belt,watter pump,cam seals,crank seal,and tensioner.When the belt broke it started making a tapping noise.Got it timed perfect and it is still making the noise>Has anybody had this problem,or know where I should start checking??????????

 

Well you should first try to see where the noise is coming from, see if you can come up with some conditions in which the noise operates and especially if it increases with RPM.

Did a piece of the belt stay inside the cover, possibly swingin' aruond and around?
