Tacoma Leaf Spring

I got a 2000 Prerunner. My leaf spring snapped on my rear passenger side.
I'm knew to leaf springs, what are my cheapest and safest options?

You might check with Toyota, I think there was a recall for some model years on the rear springs. Otherwise, try a junkyard and get some used leaves or if you are looking to replace both springs, you could try a spring shop if you have one locally, or try Alcan Spring (http://www.alcanspring.com/) and get something made. Also try JC Whitney and see if they carry a stock height replacement spring, I know they do for the earlier Toyota pickups.

If you are going to replace the whole leaf pack then I would recommend going to http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/tacoleafs.htm and taking a look at the their selection. Great products and customer service too.

I have a 2001 that I am in the process of replacing the rear leafs and shocks with new ones. I think the old ones are good, but I am upgrading with a suspension lift. If you are in Colorado, I would just give you my old set if they are still good.
