tacoma 4x4 rear axle ????????

will the trd limit slip "that does fit in the 4cyl rear axle tacoma" fit into a 1990 toy pickup 4x4 4cyl??????????????????

nope, the housing needs to be modified, there are tons of writeups on this procedure around, i dont know the links off hand, but i am sure someone will chime in....

No, he's asking about a TRD limited slip. Not the electric locker.


To answer your question, no, the Tacoma uses a 8.4" diff where the pickups and 4Runners use a 8" diff. That LSD will not fit your pickup truck.

oops, i read that wrong.....

the regular taco uses the 8.4" rear, not compatible with the one in anything else other than a non trd taco
