Tacoma 3.4L Low rpm lag

hey guys im having some problems with my 98 tacoma 3.4L 5 speed It has poor acceleration from 2000 - 3000 rpm, when i put pedal to the floor in 1st gear is gets there in a hurry but as soon as i shift BOGGG the thing aint going no where but as soon as it gets passed the 3000 mark it takes off... i noticed pedal to the floor or half throtal its still the same rpm increase rate again between 2000-3000 . No check engine light, idles at around 650rpm warm. Already tried. Cleaning MAF sensor, new plugs and wires, clean throtal body, changed air filter.

Thanks for looking maybe someone has some ideas, ive already tried posting on another forum but tried everything they said ( listed above )

hook up a scanner and watch your ignition timing as it happens. You may have spark knock/ preignition that is retarding the timing making you feel like a loss of power. If so than most likely you have massive carbon deposites in the engine.

How does one get rid of massive carbon deposits in the engine?

Edit: nevermind, I googled it. I figured that was what seafoam was for, just was not sure
