Unhappy Tachometer not reading right

I hope someone can help me fix this. My RPM gauge is not reading right. The car runs fine...I think...and mileage is right too...I think...but the RPM reading is off. I might have caused the problem after I replaced the tachometer bulbs. Can anyone help me fix this?

how are you determining that it is wrong?

Well, I've first noticed when I realized my needle wont even hit 2000RPM when I'm accelerating, unless I'm acc. hard, and when I'm cruising at 72MPH, the RPM is about 1700RPM and I know for sure that's wrong. Also when I'm at idle, the needle doesn't even look like it's working. I had it checked at the shop and the mechanic said the car is idling fine at 700RPM but the needle is at zero/below zero.

I'm having this same issue. Does anyone know what the problem is?
