Switch to Synthetic?

Is it okay to switch to sythetic oil when my truck has almost 89k on it?

It shouldn't be a problem. Do a search on synthetic oil. This discussion came up several times a while back. The search should give you some good reading material on the subject.

Absolutley.

You can go to my site and download the Motor Oil Bible free. It will put a lot of those BS Myths about Synthetic motor oil to bed. Also, if you read the whole thing, you will know more about motor oil then 99% of the professional mechanics out there.
