Really is any 4Runner- stock or not- run of the mill? I think unpossible!

Nice Surf oldcarsmaniac. Curious- what width wheel adapters are those...or is it just the backspacing? Kinda jealous of the tire carrier.

The ET of rims is -51 and it has some wheel spacers (30mm). The tire carrier is stock.

Well... after searching and checking out a lot of runners, I found one that is in perfect condition!!! 2000 SR5 4x4 1 owner, always maintained at the stealers, 130k, has the rear locker in it, and it is loaded... this thing looks and drives like brand new!!

Bumper installed, ARB 2500 Canopy

Got the CBI Offroad bumper on, used the black hammer finish but turned out grey so may paint it black, not sure yet. The install was a total PITA, a tad too tight on the frame rail sides and had to cut the back of the frame off about a inch so the angled bumper mounts would allow the bumper to sit flush with the frame. Once it was trimmed it fits terrific! Jerry can holder to come later once funds build back up.

My E-Locker arrived, waiting on the Low Range Offroad wiring harness now to get that bad boy in too! ARB 2500 Canopy on and Yakima LoadWarrior too.

Here's mine. 1998 "base" 4x4, 5spd, 3RZ. Currently 64K miles (not a typo or fraud, have records to prove). Started out as a BARE BONES truck with ZERO factory options. It was, however a 4x4, 5SPD, stored inside most of its life and has zero rust (which is very rare for Canadian 4runners). I've bought a couple of parts trucks (a mint 99 Limited and 98 with 4.56 E-locker) to build mine. I installed every option available on the limited into mine (power windows, locks, heated mirrors, leather power seats (mint shape), roof racks, 16'' wheels, big brakes, as well as every other little thing). I left out the things I didn't like (power antenna, plastic cladding, dash center piece). Then installed the correct (for my truck) 4.56 e-locker. Installed the A/C from scratch. All parts were installed EXACTLY as they would be from the factory. Yes, I actually used the correct color-coded wires intertwined into original harnesses and connected to original plugs for all the wiring. Mr. Toyoda himself would not be able to tell that my truck didn't come with those options from the factory (without looking at VIN/chassis codes, of course). After building it into a "99 Limited with 5spd" I got a shrockworks bumper with Warn M8000 winch. Sport hood from the same color truck (so I wouldn't have to paint it). 265/75/16 Duratracs. I have the Sonoran steel 1.2 lift kit sitting in garage waiting to be installed (been super busy lately and had no time). After the lift kit is in, I still have to install/wire the cruise control to complete my "limited" build, and possibly truetrac in front. Then do Tundra brakes and late 3RZ mini header. After that im done with the mods and just gonna enjoy it and fight the never-ending battle with rust (I POR-15 every tiny spot underneath as soon as it appears, and spray it with rust proofing myself 4 times a year)
