Any idea of the durability of the Plasti-Dip?

Body lift and tires coming soon....

I have a 00' desert dune/silver limited and based on your pics it would look so much better plasti-dipped but i dont to paint something that will have to be maintained regularly.

The rims are plasti-dipped the rest is spray on bed-liner. So far the rims have held up great.

IIRC it was a Bent Up bumper. They are out of business now. He sold that runner a long while back.

4Timmy, were you at the Toy Run down at Pacific Raceways in Auburn back in December? Your truck looks familiar.

Out of business? Man that sucks! That's the first bumper I've seen that I liked, and I love it. I'd pay top dollar for one of those.

Here is my toy. 01 Tacoma PreRunner converted to 4x4. It has the 3.4DOHC and a 4runner tranny/transfer case. The front differential is out of a 98 Tacoma that had manual hubs. It took some time, but has been well worth it.

Drivetrain/Engine: 3.4 DOHC with deck plate mod and K&N, 97 4Runner automatic transmission/manual transfer case, 98 Tacoma front differential with manual hubs.

Suspension: Front: Bilstein 5100 with OME 882 coil Rear: Procomp AAL, Bilstein 5125's

Front Differential: 4.56 Yukon's with master bearing kit, Spartan Locker, Lucas Synthetic gear oil, Toytec differential drop

Rear Differential: 4.56 Yukon's with master bearing kit, E-locker, Lucas Synthetic gear oil

Tire/Wheel: Goodyear Duratrac 33x12.50R15 on 15x8 Eagle Alloy 185

Armor: Custom front bumper with 8000lb Smittybilt winch, Hella FF75 Fog lights. Custom square tubing sliders and full under-belly skid plate. All done my M.O.B.S. Fab

Stereo: Dual in-dash DVD, 10in JL sub, 2 Pioneer speakers all in a custom box

Odds and Ends: 20% tint, Diamond Plate tool box, Flowmaster Super 40, blacked out tail lights and high mount brake light, Billet grille

Soon to come: Front Suspension: Toytec Coilovers with 650lb coils (silver), Camburg UCA's Rear Suspension: Bilstein 5150's and I'm not sure on the leaf spring setup... any suggestions would be great. Wheel/Tire: 18in XD Monsters or Addicts on 33x12.50 KM2, Trailgrappler or Toyo's. I'm keeping the 15's to have a "play tire" to wheel and pull with... Armor: Custom rear bumper, probably going to look similar to Relentless' with a few mods And I want to get the bed Rhino Lined
