Actually question for you - with your lights, how did you mount them? Anything special besides just drilling through and mounting? I'm still debating between fabbing a light bar and just drilling through the stock bumper, but am worried about cracking the paint/spider webbing. Did that happen at all on yours?

obviously you limited.

from reading your response, you did upgrade your headlights too? From viewing the photos, idk which one's brighter - the mounted lights or head lights. it appears that my headlights are very dim in high beam and i cant see very far in my old ranger, on high beam, i was able to see everything in front of me.

And yes, i want to know what lights you have for the headlight and mounted light.

I drilled right through the bumper. No problems with the paint so far, just marked it up a bit when adjusting the aiming of the brackets, but i'm installing some rubber washers between the bracket and the bumper once the weather warms up, since I'm not at home and don't have access to a garage currently. They are actually pretty stable on the bumper, almost no vibration, unless you're on an incredibly bumpy surface. Only if the mounts are loose do you see any vibration and fluttering of the lights.

bvet, for my head lights I'm running PIAA Xtreme White 9003 55w's, they are pretty good, better than the Silverstars and Hella's that I have used in the past. Doing a $100 HID retro soon though. The bumper lights are Hella 500 Amber fog pattern driving lights. $65 shipped off Amazon. I'm running Hella H3 55w Yellow Stars in them, but upgrading to 100w Nokya's soon, when the HID's are installed.

Mine vs a 99 (with tall springs). The side view mirrors really show the difference

Cool. I think I may add a second set of the 10mm myself. I want a slight rake.
Your rig looks good man. I am embarrassed to post pics of mine now that tires look so puny on it.

Yea, I actually like the front sitting a bit higher than the rear, but an inch is too much. And thanks man, I'm sure it looks good, mine didn't look too bad when I still had 265's on it
