From a couple of experiences I've witnessed in person and a few more I've heard about most aftermarket sunroofs have issues with sealing properly and just think about all the flexing and bouncing around a truck does even on the road I think you might end up adding to those stories.
Maybe the aftermarkets gotten better but I would do my research since that's kind of a major mod on a vehicle.

From: 100 miles offshore as much as possible, & Springfield Oregon USA
Ditto that.
Basic aftermarket sunroofs do have history of leaks, and also years down the road try and get a new seal or a replacement glass.... But they start at 100 bucks.

The factory type are also available aftermarket. This requires welding the pan into the roof with the drains etc. and is far superior. You can even have electric ones installed. Must be installed by proffesionals, and cost 1000 bucks and upward.

I would like to do something like that as well. Maybe, unless there are too many issues or too costly(which is what it sounds like)
