I'm considering trading in my 1995 4Runner (134000 Miles) runs great but is showing a bit of rust in the wheel wells- for a 2001 SR5/Sport (113000 miles). The list price on the 01 is $11,995 and from it's looks and driving it breifly it seems kinda nice. They offerd me to trade my Runner and $9,000 and I tried to get 'em to $8,500 but they stood their ground. Any one have any opinions if I should cave? I have been searching for a couple weeks and this is by far my favorite Runner with in 150 miles. What do you all think?

Hmm... seems like not much of a good deal to me. Depends on where you are though.

 

so, 3000+taxes for your runner, how much would you be able to sell it for?

Chances are that if you cant sell it in time, the 4runner you want will probably be sold.. so if you really want that 4runner, I would just bite the bullet and trade it in.

 

Dealer just called and offerd me the $8,500 difference SOLD pick it on Mon can't wait!!
