i know i know, i should drive a 5speed.... but this is what i got.
so the other day i jump in and try to shift and nothing happens.
so i get fed up and use the little shift override button thingy so i can shift... so everytime i want to put it into drive, i have to press the little button thing... does anyone have a clue as to what i could possibly do to fix this...

Underneath your rig, there is an automatic shift linkage adjustment. 4Crawler shows pictures on his website. If this linkage somehow moved it may be binding and thus not allowing you to shift. On my tacoma, the linkage is on the driverside of the transmission. I think a 12 mm loosens it up. Just play with the adjustments until you find something that works....I had to have someone else to work the shift lever in the cab. Good luck...
