stock size tires (pressure)

For the first time since I have owned my 4runner I am running stock tires (5 years now) I was putting air into the tires and then looked at the data plate for pressure. Is it correct 26psi front and 35psi rear? It is a 87 4runner with 225 75 15's. Why did I go back to stock? I don't have the time or place to go offroading and with the larger tires I can only get about 13 miles to the gal... So the tires get put up in the garage and I get my fuel economy back!

That's the same pressure mine lists on the door for that size tire, though the factory manual says 26/32 below 75 mph, and 26/35 above.
