Stock Head Unit with Bluetooth

I have a 99' 4R and while replacing bulbs behind Hazard, Rear window, defrost and climate control I noticed the stock head unit Radio -CD -Cassette by Matsu˟˟˟˟a #86120-35170 has the CD changer option plug on the back, this deck is amazingly good for its age although not a Pioneer, and I still listen to Cassettes. This Deck has probably never been used for anything other than radio until I bought the truck. I want to have a Bluetooth connection for hands free calling or another source of music and I came across this I'll let everyone know how it works out, but all signs point to yes it will work and do even more than I needed. Anybody have bluetooth on a factory 3rd Gen deck. Always wonder why people throw this factory deck out when its more capable than most aftermarket decks, just wish it was the Pioneer Model the lexus got.

Cool, I'd be interested in hearing how it works for you.

Works perfectly, plugs into the back of the Factory Matsush(i)ta Deck, connects to iPhone via Bluetooth, comes with a Mic, USB input, Aux input, (also came with a USB that accepts SD and Micro SD cards) controls Music tracks via head unit controls, still gives you the option to choose Radio, CD or Tape player, I can accept and hang up calls via head unit, car speakers automatically chooses phone calls with Bluetooth activated on iPhone, it did drop the Bluetooth connection if I pressed RND(random) or RPT(repeat), making it so I had to close and open the bluetooth connection on the iPhone, so don't press those while using iTunes or on a call, also it is a little quieter listening to music via bluetooth. This factory Deck is Dolby B encoded and recognizes Type I II IV type tapes and plays them very well, I record Type II tapes usually using a Pioneer with Auto BLE and Dolby S and the sound is pure Nirvana out of this Head Unit.
